Placer County sheriff’s deputies arrested Christopher Anthony Renai, 23, and Skyler William Ford, 21, in Truckee this month on suspicion of unlawful sexual relations with minors under 16, authorities say.

An ongoing investigation led to the arrest of the two men. The Placer County Sheriff’s Tahoe Station Office, Special Operations detectives and Truckee Police arrested Ford at his Truckee home on Oct. 16. Renai was arrested near his Truckee work site on Oct. 5.

The sheriff’s office posted a video of Ford’s arrest on their Facebook page yesterday.

Both men are still in custody at the Placer County Jail, with Renai’s bail set at $100,000 and Ford’s at $305,000.

Renai and Ford’s next court dates are both set for Nov. 8.
