A traffic stop in Lincoln led to the arrests of two men on drug charges, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The deputies conducted a traffic stop off of Twelve Bridges Drive in Lincoln. Two of the occupants were found to be on active Sacramento probation, the Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found approximately three ounces of methamphetamine and 2.5 grams of heroin.
Doug Brown, 28, of Sacramento, and Freddi Lopez, 29, of Somerset, were arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to sell. They remain in custody at the Placer County jail, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
