Rancho Cordova police ask the community’s help in finding a 78-year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
Rita Bernice Basquez was last seen at 11 a.m. Thursday near White Rock Road and was headed toward Zinfandel Drive. Basquez has a pacemaker and suffers from advanced dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to a Police Department news release.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 108 pounds, with black and gray hair, and brown eyes. Basquez was last seen wearing a white sweater with a black cow print, black pants, black shoes and glasses. She might also be wearing a visor.
Police said Basquez often responds to the name Rita Hernandez.
