Rancho Cordova police arrested 19-year-old Zeafrown Brooks on Friday after a Regional Transit camera spotted him tucking a firearm into his waistband at the Zinfandel Drive light-rail station.
Officers quickly responded to a call from the camera operator and detained Brooks. After determining he was on searchable probation, police found a replica semi-automatic handgun and a sawed-off .22-caliber rifle with a 25-round magazine and no serial number.
Brooks had been wanted for two felony charges for robbery and assault by means of force likely to commit great bodily injury. He also pleaded no contest to an assault charge in June, which kept him from legally owning a gun, and so was charged with suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon.
