A man who concealed a camera in the the bathroom at an area business ended up recording a video of himself.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department has released that video and is asking the public’s help in identifying the man.
Investigators discovered that the man concealed an extremely small video camera near the plumbing under the bathroom sink. The camera was directed toward a wall-mounted urinal and a toilet after it was set to record, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
A forensic examination of the camera and the SD card yielded photos of the man believed to be the suspect. The man depicted in the photos was recorded placing the camera and leaving the business, then re-entering the business later and moving the camera to another bathroom within the same location. Images of the man were also captured from surveillance cameras inside the business, the news release said.
