The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a murder in Oak Park after a man died of a gunshot wound Saturday night, police said.

At 10:23 p.m, officers responded to multiple 911 calls about shots fired in the 4000 block of Broadway. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot. Officers performed CPR, but the man died at the scene, according to the release.

Homicide detectives searched the area for witnesses and evidence, but did not find a suspect. A motive for the shooting is still unknown. The name of the victim has not been released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the homicide to contact the dispatch center at 916-264-5471.
