Sacramento County sheriff's sergeant details Elverta Road shooting
Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies found one of two suspects hiding under a bridge after a reported shooting and alleged kidnapping on Elverta Road Monday morning.
At about 8 a.m., a caller told sheriff's dispatchers that he had been shot, and that two male suspects had fled on foot with a woman, who may have been forced to go with the men.

The second male suspect remains at large. He is described as a 52-year-old white male, approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
