Three Nevada County suspects seemed to need a hand pulling off their latest heist.
A prosthetic arm was taken in a home burglary off Newtown Road near Nevada City last week, according to a Facebook post from the Nevada County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies chased leads before discovering a Grass Valley Police Department officer was talking to three people of interest Wednesday. Law enforcement agents searched their car and found a prosthetic limb that matched the description given by the home invasion victim.
Michael Martin, Mike Mulligan and Emma St. Clair were all booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property. All three were still in Nevada County's main jail as of Thursday night.
