Four Sacramento residents are in jail for alleged involvement in the attempted murder or two men at an RV park in Amador County in November, and a fifth person is sought in the case.

The Amador County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday that three suspects, William Keifer Johnson, 22, Jozalynn Marie Hennie, 20, and Kevin Dishawne Carlock, 34, were apprehended June 9 when SWAT officers with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and Sacramento Police Department executed arrest warrants. Suspect Lucia Magana Verduzco, 22, was arrested shortly after the Nov. 10 attack, and a fifth suspect, Deandre Dwayne Register, 21, remains at large, according to an Amador County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deputies responded to the Far Horizons 49er RV Resort at 18265 Highway 49 in Plymouth shortly after 11 p.m. Nov. 10 regarding a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found two victims, a 28-year-old man who had been shot in the head and a 48-year-old man who had been struck in the head with blunt object.

A black Mercedes was seen leaving the area and was stopped by officers on Highway 49 south of Drytown. The occupant, Verduzco, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and attempted murder, sheriff’s officials said.

Sheriff’s detectives subsequently interviewed victims, witnesses and Verduzco, and processed the crime scene and evidence. Sheriff’s officials said substantial physical evidence was recovered by the Sheriff’s Office’s search and rescue team, which combed miles of roadside.

The evidence was sent to the California Department of Justice for fingerprint and DNA analysis, and the case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office. District Attorney’s Office investigators obtained and evaluated digital evidence and social media, and conducted substantial multimedia forensics, sheriff’s officials said.

Based on the accumulated information, arrest warrants were issued for three additional suspects alleging attempted murder, attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy. A fourth arrest warrant was issued for accessory after the fact, sheriff’s officials said.

Since their arrest earlier this month, Johnson, Hennie, Carlock have been transferred from Sacramento County to the Amador County Jail and are awaiting trial.

Register, who is still at large, is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder, attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
