Two men from the Sacramento area were arrested earlier this week for allegedly committing a series of burglaries in Placer County.
Levi Brandon Ochotorena, 33, of Sacramento and Douglas Wayne Boyer, 23, of Fair Oaks were being held at the Placer County Jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Ochotorena is ineligible for bail, but bail was set for Boyer at $100,000.
At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Placer County sheriff deputies responded to a residential burglary in Granite Bay. The evidence at the scene led detectives to a Sacramento neighborhood, where they arrested Ochotorena.
Investigators also found evidence in Sacramento that led them to Fair Oaks, where Boyer was arrested Thursday.
