Roseville bank robber sought

Roseville police need help in finding a robber who made off with money from a bank in a grocery store.

At about 4 p.m. Friday, the unidentified man robbed the River City Bank inside the Bel Air supermarket at Sunrise Avenue and Cirby Way. He demanded cash and was given an undisclosed amount of money.

The man then left the store. No weapon was seen during the robbery.

He was described as a white man in his 30s, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 200 pounds, with blond hair. Call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-7867.

Former Good Day Sacramento anchor Chris Burrous died from a methamphetamine overdose on Dec. 27, 2018, the Los Angeles County coroner announced Friday. His body was found in a motel room after a sexual encouter.
