The Sacramento Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying suspects in recent robberies who used a stun gun to assault their victims.
The robberies occurred in the Natomas and south Sacramento areas on Dec. 29 and 30. Police said the suspects targeted women in public parking lots, using a stun gun to assault the victims before taking their property.
They reportedly left the robbery scenes in a white vehicle (pictured), possibly a Dodge Neon.
The suspects were described only as two black females in their midteens and a heavy-set black man.

The first incident occurred at 8:26 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 3600 block of Truxel Road. The victim was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by a female who assaulted her either with a fist or a stun gun. The victim was knocked down, and the female grabbed the victim’s purse, then fled, according to a Police Department news release. The suspect was seen getting into an older white sedan, which left the area.
The second incident occurred less than an hour later, about 9:11 p.m., in the 1300 block of Florin Road. The victim was walking to her car when she was approached by a female suspect who used a stun gun on the victim and took her wallet. The suspect then fled in a white sedan.
The third robbery occurred at 9 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 900 block of Florin Road. In this case, the victim was walking to her car when she was approached by three black girls, described as 16 or 17 years old and wearing dark clothing. One girl reportedly assaulted the woman with a stun gun as one of the other girls grabbed her purse. All three fled in a white sedan.
