Three people were taken to area hospitals Saturday night after a shooting at a south Sacramento apartment complex, Sacramento police report.
The three victims were shot by at least two gunmen about 9 p.m. at the Aspen Park apartments in the 4900 block of Mack Road at Summersdale Road, said Sacramento Police Lt. Alisa Buckley. Two of the victims are in surgery in critical condition, she said.
Buckley said the gunmen ran up to the apartment near the end of the complex and opened fire.
“We think there were two or more shooters,” Buckley said. She said the shooters were described as wearing hooded sweatshirts.
