A woman in her 20s suffered injuries that are not life-threatening this afternoon in a shooting in Sacramento’s Alkali Flat neighborhood.
Sacramento police spokesman Officer Doug Morse said the shooting was reported at 2:59 p.m. in the 400 block of 12th Street.
He said the woman was believed to have been standing with a group of people. Morse said it has not been determined whether the shots were fired from a passing vehicle or by someone on the street.
He said officers are interviewing witnesses at the scene.
