Davis police have released a sketch of a suspect in the robbery of a Jamba Juice store in April in hopes that someone in the community will be able to identify him.
The man entered the shop at 1361 Covell Blvd. about 8:14 p.m. April 26 and demanded money from the clerk, according to a Police Department news release. During the robbery, he displayed a handgun tucked in the waistband of his pants, then left the store on foot.
The man is described as Asian, 20 to 24 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a slender build, black hair that hung over his eyebrows and ears, and dry “splotchy” skin on his face. He was wearing a black pea coat with shiny buttons, black pants and a black knit “snowboarder”-style hat with a small brim.
The gun was described as a semiautomatic-type pistol with a silver-colored handle and black grips.
