A Sacramento man is suspected of selling moonshine from his home.
Lloyd Wayne Henrichs, 66, was booked into Sacramento County jail on Wednesday. Agents from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control special operations unit also seized distilled spirits and a still from his home on Dry Creek Road.
Agents were first alerted to the presence of the still by a citizen. Over the course of several months, the agents made undercover visits to the residence where they purchased booze.
Henrichs allegedly told agents he was distilling what he called “Apple Pie” and “straight moonshine,” according to a press release.

Copper still apparatus, about 30 gallons of liquor and other products and supplies to make spirits were seized on Wednesday. Officials said that Henrichs is expected to be charged with illegally manufacturing liquor and possession of the unlicensed still.
The case will be presented to the Sacramento County District Attorney for review.
