Police need help finding car connected to Lodi woman’s death

Lodi police need help in finding a car that is tied to the stabbing death of a woman on Friday morning.

Police said that at about 5:47 a.m. a citizen called dispatch to report that a bleeding woman had waived him down. Officers responded to Central Avenue and Vine Street to where the 33-year-old was bleeding from puncture wounds.

The Lodi woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police said in a press release that the woman’s death appeared to be related to domestic violence. Detectives were following up on leads and need the public’s help to find a 1995 burgundy or maroon Honda Accord with a California license plate of 7CCZ084.
