An argument in an Auburn parking lot early Thursday led to the arrest of a suspect in several business burglaries.
Police officers were conducting a patrol check in the Auburn Town Center on Elm Avenue at 1:16 a.m. when they spotted two men arguing in the parking lot. The officers recognized one of the men, Michael Allen Frohman, as a suspect from surveillance video of a recent burglary in the 200 block of Nevada Street, according to a Police Department news release.
Officers arrested Frohman, 23, after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. During the course of the investigation, the officers were able to link Frohman to the burglary of several businesses on Nevada Street, police said.
Frohman was also arrested on suspicion of burglary and is being held in Placer County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
