One killed in Stockton Flea Market shootout

A shootout today at the Stockton Flea Market left a 22-year-old man dead of gunshot wounds, police said.

According to the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page, the slain man had been walking through the Flea Market in the 2500 block of El Dorado Street when he said something to three other people there.

“The 22-year-old man then pulled out a gun and shot at the three people,” the police statement said. “One of the three returned fire, hitting the 22-year-old man,” who was transported to a hospital where he died.
