The California Highway Patrol is asking the public’s help in identifying a man sought in relation to repeated break-ins at a state Department of Transportation yard in Yuba County.
The break-ins occurred at a Caltrans mechanic yard on North Beale Road in Linda. The man, shown in a surveillance photo, is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build, light brown or blonde hair, and facial hair, according to a CHP news release.
New surveillance cameras installed throughout the yard have captured images of the man on multiple occasions stealing items and vandalizing the yard, CHP officials said.
Anyone with information that would help identify the man is asked to call the Yuba Sutter Area CHP at (530) 674-5141. Callers may remain anonymous.
