A woman who was reported missing by her family in early August has been found safe.
Stacy Welsh, 49, who had lived in Orangevale, was spotted Monday in the Sacramento area by family members, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department news release.
Welsh’s mother had last seen her June 16 and her daughter had last heard from her July 4. Welsh reportedly had told her daughter that she feared for her safety.
Sheriff’s officials said Welsh was considered at-risk because it was unusual for her not to be in contact with family members.
