A: No arrests have been reported in the Aug. 31, 2014 kidnapping.
According to stories in The Sacramento Bee, a stranger entered a home in the 5000 block of Adelaide Way about 3 a.m. and took the girl against her will, carrying her through the house with his hand over her mouth. He took her to a nearby wooded area and later released her.

The girl managed to make her way home in the dark. Once inside, she locked the door and woke up her parents. Sacramento County sheriff’s officials said she suffered no serious injuries.
The man reportedly entered and left the home through an unlocked sliding glass door at the rear of the house.
He was described as white, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing 120 to 160 pounds. He reportedly was clean-shaven with “healing “acne marks, short brown hair, combed back, and dark brown eyes.
