A limited question-and-answer session related to the killing of two deputies and the wounding of others is scheduled by Auburn police for Monday night.

The meeting for Auburn area residents, which will also include school officials, will be held 6 p.m. Monday at the Canyon View Community Center, 471 Maidu Drive, in Auburn.

A brief overview will start the gathering. Questions will then be fielded by meeting organizers. However, due to the on-going investigation of the shootings some information related to the killings will not be discussed.

Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Danny Oliver, 47, was shot and killed Friday in the parking lot of a Motel 6 on Arden Way. The man suspected of killing Oliver, Marcelo Marquez, has also been accused in the shooting death of Placer County sheriff's Detective Michael Davis Jr., that same day in Auburn. Marquez and his wife, Janelle Monroy, were arrested.
