A woman suspected of stealing pricey hair extensions on Friday from a South Sacramento beauty supply store ended up fleeing the scene in her bra after her shirt was torn off in a struggle with employees.
The robbery happened at a beauty supply store in the 7200 block of Franklin Boulevard at about 2:20 p.m. Friday. A man and woman reportedly entered the store and asked an employee to show them the most expensive hair extensions.
Moments later, the man took the hair extensions and ran out the door, said Officer Doug Morse, a spokesman for the Sacramento Police Department. The woman fled toward the door an instant later, but was blocked by one employee and grabbed by another as she struggled to get out of the partially closed front door of the business.
“There was a physical altercation which resulted in her shirt coming off,” Morse said. “I’m sure you can imagine how that could happen.”
