A San Joaquin County woman was arrested over the weekend following mailbox break-ins in Rocklin.
Angela Pelligra, 44, of Lathrop was pulled her over by Rocklin police officers at about 8:45 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and West Stanford Ranch Road.
During a search, officers said they found a large amount of stolen mail inside the van. Further investigation revealed that two cluster-style mailboxes in the area had been forced open.
At least eight Rocklin residents had their mail stolen from the boxes. Pelligra was booked into Placer County Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
