The shooting victim who died after being wounded at an Antelope home earlier this week has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s website lists him as Travis Price, 38, of Antelope. Price was pronounced dead at a hospital at 1:35 a.m. Thursday.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at a residence in the 7900 block of Blackfoot Way shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday after receiving a report that a man was shot inside the home. Price was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation led officers to detain Sean Gregory Sandlin, 25, of Citrus Heights, an acquaintance of a person at the home. Sandlin was eventually arrested and booked into Sacramento County jail on suspicion of homicide.
