A: Sacramento police provided an update in this case, reporting that two men suspected of playing a role in 39-year-old Peter Standley’s killing were arrested in May.

Detectives arrested 18-year-old Aaron Newby and 21-year-old Desmond Eaddy, both of Sacramento. According to Sacramento Superior Court online records, both are charged with robbery and murder. They are being held in Sacramento County Jail without bail and are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 11.

Standley was found suffering from gunshot wounds about 3 p.m. April 26 at an apartment complex in the 700 block of Lampasas Avenue in Sacramento’s Noralto neighborhood. He died at the scene.
