The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two women suspected of thefts at two businesses in the city earlier this year.
Police on Monday released surveillance photos of two women sought in connection with the June thefts at businesses near the 2600 block of Riverside Boulevard and the 5100 block of Freeport Boulevard. In both incidents, the women are suspected of removing personal items, including purses containing credit cards, belonging to employees, according to a Police Department news release.
Several hours later, the women were observed purchasing items using the victims’ credit cards in Sacramento and Lodi, police said.
One woman is described as Caucasian or Hispanic; weighing 140 to 160 pounds; with a light complexion and brown hair in a ponytail; and wearing a multicolored flower-print long-sleeved shirt, gray pants and dark tennis shoes with white laces.

The other woman is described as Hispanic; weighing 150 to 170 pounds; with light brown hair; and wearing a gray long-sleeved sweater and multicolored, floor-length skirt.
