A: Richard Albert Jiron admitted to a dozen felonies and misdemeanors in more than 20 attacks on women in midtown and downtown Sacramento in 2002 and 2003.

According to stories in The Sacramento Bee, Jiron would ride by the women on his bicycle and hit them, usually in the head and face. The victims ranged in age from 13 to 58 and in some cases, the women were seriously injured.

Jiron was sentenced in June 2004 to 14 years and eight months in prison. Now 55 years old, he is at California State Prison, Los Angeles County, in Lancaster.
