The Sacramento County Sheriff’s department is investigating an act of vandalism discovered Saturday morning at the Calvary Chapel church in Orangevale.
A passerby alerted the department at 8:45 a.m. about the graffiti, a red swastika with writing next to it on a wall of the church at 6201 Walnut Ave., said Sgt. Lisa Bowman, spokesman for the sheriff's department.
Bowman said crime scene investigators were called to the church to check for fingerprints and take photographs.
