A Roseville man was arrested Thursday in connection with at least four bank robberies that occurred in Granite Bay, Rocklin and Roseville over the past nine months, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.

Acting on information recently received about a suspicious person inside a Granite Bay bank, sheriff’s detectives identified 43-year-old Alexander Sheldon Lepley as a possible suspect in a recent string of robberies, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Detectives from each affected agency determined Lepley was a probable suspect in the robberies in their respective jurisdictions, sheriff’s officials said.

Lepley is being held in Placer County Jail in lieu of $250,000.

Anyone with information regarding Lepley and other bank robberies is asked to call the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, 530-889-7800.
