A two-car collision at a downtown intersection sent a car careening into a building housing state offices and a ground-floor daycare center.
One of the drivers was walking around after the crash, taking pictures of his wrecked vehicle, while the other was apparently taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
After the two cars collided at the intersection around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, one vehicle hit the façade of the Paul Bonderson Building at 10th and P streets. Rainbow Daycare center on the ground floor was not damaged.
The morning commute was slowed as Sacramento police officers directed traffic around the crash. The Paul Bonderson Building houses employees of the Department of Water Resources and other state workers, according to arriving employees.
