A Lincoln-area grass fire that briefly threatened two structures was contained Tuesday.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection dealt with the fire at Moore Road near South Dowd Road. A Cal Fire spokesman said the two structures were not damaged.
The fire was reported contained at 2:55 p.m. after burning an estimated 105 to 110 acres.
In addition to Cal Fire, fire crews from Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville responded along with units from Wheatland, East Nicolaus and Penryn.

Firefighters were on scene for several hours Tuesday afternoon putting out hot spots and making sure the fire does not rekindle, according to Cal Fire.
No road closures were reported.
