Roseville Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of any of the people who fired shots outside The Station nightclub on Orlando Avenue on July 1.
Officers were called to the club at 11:42 p.m. regarding shots fired outside. At least three people were taken to area hospitals with injuries suffered when more than 100 rounds were fired outside the club from multiple weapons, including handguns and rifles, according to a Roseville Police Department news release.
Officers learned that numerous patrons were inside the nightclub when an argument began. The gunfire started when one of the groups involved in the argument went outside, police said.
In addition to the people who were injured, bullets struck homes and businesses in the surrounding neighborhood, as well as a number of cars.
Several cars sped away from the nightclub before officers arrived, but police said they don’t know whether they belonged to the shooters, patrons fleeing the violence or both.
Stressing that the situation was dangerous for nightclub employees, patrons and the neighborhood, police said they are determined to arrest the shooters.
Anyone with information about the shooters is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at 916-783-7867, or to submit a tip via the Police Department’s website, https://www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=957. People submitting tips will remain anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward if the information leads to an arrest.
