Roseville bank robbery caught on camera

Roseville police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man caught on camera robbing a bank while wearing a gray fedora and dark-rimmed glasses Thursday afternoon.

The Bank of the West branch at 1112 Galleria Blvd., Roseville, was robbed at about 3:15 p.m., Roseville police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said in an email.

The robber handed the teller a note demanding cash, took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot, she said.

“A gun was mentioned, but none was seen,” Gunther wrote.

The robber appeared to be in his 20s, about 5-foot-7 with an average build. He wore a gray fedora, dark-rimmed glasses and a denim shirt.

Anyone with information should call Roseville police at (916) 774-5100.
