Crews on Wednesday morning continue to battle two grass fires totaling 376 acres in Calaveras County, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection reports.

The Pacheco Fire off Lanford Pacheco Road, south of Valley Springs, has burned 341 acres by 8:37 a.m. and is 20 percent contained, Cal Fire reports.

Firefighters are also battling the 35-acre Stagecoach Fire, off Stagecoach Road and Highway 4, south of Copperopolis. As of Tuesday evening, CalFire reported that the forward progress of the Stagecoach Fire had been halted. As of Wednesday morning, the fire was reported as 75 percent contained, according to CalFire.
