The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the woman whose body was found floating in the Sacramento River in early July.
She was identified as 33-year-old Erica M. Rodriguez. The coroner’s website did not list her place of residence.
West Sacramento firefighters were flagged down about 4:15 p.m. July 6 about a woman’s body in the middle of the river just off the Miller Park Launch ramp, according to a Sacramento Police Department activity log.
The coroner’s website said the body was 100 yards upriver from the boat ramp, near the west end of Broadway. A Sacramento Fire Department water rescue crew recovered the body.
