Authorities are seeking a well-dressed criminal they say robbed two banks in Roseville and other financial institutions in the Sacramento region.

Roseville Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed the Roseville banks on June 18 and July 7.

The robber in both cases is described as white, in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin to average build and stubbly facial hair.

In both cases, the robber presented a note demanding money and a gun was mentioned but not seen, according to a Roseville Police Department news release.

In the July 7 robbery, the man sported a beard and wore a gray fedora, thick black glasses and a denim shirt. In the June 18 robbery, he wore a tan cowboy hat, a colorful button-down shirt, sunglasses and blue jeans, and appeared to be clean-shaven.

The FBI believes the same man may be responsible for other robberies in the region, police said.

Police released surveillance photos from the two robberies and ask anyone who recognizes the man to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at 916-783-7867. Callers can remain anonymous.
