Sacramento County sheriff’s detectives are asking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stealing a vending machine from a Carmichael apartment complex.
On May 21, the men entered the gym of the apartment complex in the 4900 block of Marconi Avenue. They returned a short time later and stole a vending machine, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
One of the men is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He had brown hair and was clean-shaven. The man was initially seen on surveillance footage wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt; jeans; and tennis shoes. When he returned to the gym, he was also wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt.
The second man was described as white, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, with dark hair and a goatee. He was initially seen in surveillance footage wearing a dark-colored, short-sleeved T-shirt, dark pants and tennis shoes. When he returned to the gym, he was also wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with a baseball cap underneath. Sheriff’s officials said he had a distinctive “eversion” walk, meaning he walks on the inside of his feet.
