Sacramento County coroner’s officials released the names of three men whose bodies were recovered separately from local rivers.
The most recent death was that of David R. Gagner, 61, whose body was recovered from the American River near Cadillac Drive. His body was spotted before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Sacramento Fire Department firefighters were called in for a water recovery near the H Street bridge and the Campus Commons Golf Course, but they found the body on land and called off the water rescue.
They turned the case over to the Sacramento Police Department, which said there was no evidence of foul play in Gagner’s death.
