A 15-year-old Colfax High School student was arrested after he was accused of making threats against fellow students.
Placer County sheriff’s spokeswoman Dena Erwin declined to characterize the nature of the threats. She said an investigation was launched last week after students at the school reported the threats to school officials, who contacted the Sheriff’s Office. The student was arrested Monday.
She said sheriff’s detectives worked with Colfax High administrators and the school district, as well as the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, on the investigation.
The boy’s name was not released because he is a juvenile.
