A man found in front of a Franklin Boulevard business Tuesday night died of an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers were called about 7:30 p.m. to the 7200 block of Franklin Boulevard, where a man was on the ground. Sacramento Fire Department medical personnel were called to the scene and transported the man to a hospital, where he later was pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators were called to the business to begin an investigation. No motive has been established for the man’s killing and no arrests have been made.
