The man stabbed at a Woodland mobile home park earlier this week has been identified by the Yolo County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office as Ronald Antonio, 41, of Woodland.

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Antonio on Tuesday night. Woodland police said the same officers who responded to the scene were later shot at by someone in a passing car as they conducted their investigation.

The four suspects in the homicide – identified as Alexis Ivan Velasquez, 18; Justin Mathew Gonzalez, 22; Cynthia Maria Tello, 23; and Vanessa Ramos, 22 – face murder charges with criminal gang enhancements, police said. Tello and Ramos each face an additional charge of knowingly harboring or concealing a felon after a crime.

A knife in connection to the stabbing was found by the Yolo County gang task force, which took over the investigation after developing information about participants in the stabbing.

Woodland police officers were sent to Casa Del Sol, 709 East St., a mobile home park, about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in response to reports of a fight. Officers found Antonio, who had been stabbed outside of his home.

As officers were investigating the scene for evidence Tuesday night, a vehicle drove by on East Street. Someone in the passing vehicle shouted derogatory remarks at the assembled officers and fired a gun at police. A slug hit an unoccupied police vehicle on the driver’s side door. The vehicle then drove away.
