Sacramento police were investigating a hit-and-run collision Friday night in the Pocket area.
The crash occurred in the 7200 block of Gloria Drive about 9:45 p.m., according to a Sacramento police news release. Officers found a 26-year-old female motorcyclist on the curb. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the motorcycle was traveling north on Gloria when it was struck by a silver sedan that was pulling out of a driveway. The sedan is described as a late model, possibly a Honda or Hyundai, which may have been damaged on the driver’s side.
The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver. Anyone with information can call the tip hotline at 916-808-6030.
