Here’s how to be safe in an earthquake
Seven small earthquakes, four of which shook the east Bay Area, were recorded Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning in Northern California.
Tremors of 2.6, 2.8, 2.9 and 3.0 magnitude were picked up in or just outside of Danville between 1:32 and 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
Quakes of 2.8 and 3.4 magnitude hit Lassen Volcanic National Park between 1:10 and 1:52 p.m. Monday, and a 2.8 magnitude disruption was recorded at 5:02 p.m. Sunday along Pieta Creek just above Mendocino County’s southern border.
At least 15 earthquakes 2.5 magnitude or greater have hit Northern California in the last week.
