Raley’s, Nob Hill and Bel Air stores have joined the ranks of grocery stores recalling prepackaged and frozen vegetable products from Mann Packing that may be contaminated with listeria. So far, health officials have not confirmed any listeria cases in Sacramento County.

Customers who purchased products included in the recall are being notified through emails and phone calls, said Raley’s spokesperson Chelsea Minor.

Raley’s, Nob Hill and Bel Air stores in California recalled products with “best if used by” dates from Oct. 12 to Oct. 18.

Products include Mann’s Nourish Bowl brand Monterey Risotto, Southwest Chipotle, Sesame Sriracha, Cauliflower Rice Curry and Bacon Maple Brussels; Mann’s Kale Beat Blend Slaw; Mann’s Broccoli Wokly; Mann’s Broccoli and Cauliflower; Mann’s Vegetable Medley; Mann’s Cheddar Pretzel Snack; Mann’s Honey Turkey Cheddar Snack; Mann’s Power Blend Superfood; Mann’s Broccoli and Carrots; Mann’s Broccoli Coleslaw; Mann’s Culinary Cuts Cauliflower; Mann’s Broccoli Stir Fry.

At least 20 brands that are processed by Mann Packing, which is based in Salinas, are included in the recall notice that the FDA released Oct. 19. The recall was issued after a single item tested positive during a random sampling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

Listeria symptoms can include fever, headache, stiff neck, fatigue and diarrhea and typically show up one to four weeks after eating contaminated food, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Pregnant women, adults older than 65 and people with weakened immune systems are at greater risk for infection.
