The conversation can be a hard one. How do you know when a loved one is showing signs of dementia? When is it time to seek medical diagnosis?
To help families with their loved ones, the Alzheimer’s Association has scheduled a Conversations about Dementia workshop to offer tips on how to have open but compassionate talks with family members about their forgetfulness.
The free workshop is planned from 3-4 p.m., Jan. 9, at the Arden-Dimick Library, located at 891 Watt Ave. in Sacramento. Registration is required.
For more information, call the Alzheimer’s Association at (800) 272-3900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
