Highway 193 in Placer County reopens after logging truck overturns

Highway 193 in Placer County reopened Friday afternoon after a logging truck overturned, the state Department of Transportation reports.

The incident was reported at 8:50 a.m. between Sierra College Boulevard and Gold Hill Road, according to Cal Trans. Logs needed to be cleared from the roadway, but Caltrans said the highway reopened to traffic as of 2 p.m. Friday.
