Light-rail service on Regional Transit’s Gold Line was disrupted Thursday afternoon following a collision between a train and a bicyclist.
Regional Transit spokeswoman Alane Masui said the collision occurred about 4:30 p.m. when a bicyclist reportedly rode into the path of a light-rail train at Zinfandel Drive. The train was headed toward Sacramento. Masui said the bicyclist was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Service resumed about 5:15 p.m.
