Theme park rides are meant to be fun and exhilarating.

But on Saturday, one ride turned downright scary for a 14-year-old girl from New York.

According to WTEN, the girl suffered minor injuries after falling about 25 feet from a theme park attraction at Six Flags Great Escape in the Lake George, New York-area.

Loren Lent caught the incident and took a video that he later posted to Facebook. It has received more than 690,000 views and 6,900 shares in less than 24 hours.

In the video, you can see the girl hanging from the car. A group of park guests and employees gathered beneath the ride and were able to catch her. However she did hit a tree branch on her way down, according to WTEN.

The girl was transported to the hospital after receiving treatment. She is in stable condition. A 47-year-old man, who was one of the people who gathered to catch the girl, was also hospitalized and treated for a back injury. according to WTEN.

Sheriff’s investigators and park employees also looked at the ride and found no flaws with the ride or safety equipment.

Six Flags decided to keep the attraction closed on Sunday “out of an abundance of caution,” according to FOX40.
